Lucky Star harkens to her southern & midwestern roots…familiar & comfortable recipes using the freshest and best quality ingredients. Katie specializes in the rustic & pastoral recipes that have their roots in the traditions of “low country” foods and the people that built a culinary tradition of seasonal ingredients. After living and cooking in Vermont for the past 20 years, she has immense respect & gratitude for the agricultural spirit in the Green Mountains. At the core of Lucky Star, the belief is simple: the most memorable events are those that leave the guests feeling like they never want the celebration to end…full of beautiful food, surrounded by joyful camaraderie and reveling in the bliss of “food love”.
